Kilimanjaro Scenic Homestay

Family owned lodge. The owner most especially is very accommodating and friendly. Had a great talk with the owner and even served me beer even after the bar is close. The room is very comfortable and clean. They have hot water!

Nice place, top view of Kilimanjaro, nice room and bed, bathroom, very clean and comfy, very good breakfast, lunch & dinner and a very nice & friendly staff (Gabriel & family), support me also during sickness like I'm a member of his family. Highly recommended in Moshi.

This Hotel is awesome designed in a way that we directly watch Kilimanjaro Mountain from our bed. They have awesome Garden with hanging beds. Wonderful staff always near by to help us with food, transfer, drinks, tours etc.. Tasty breakfast! Owner of the property is very friendly and always happy to help us! He himself is the designer of this beautiful small property. He is keen to know inputs from guests coming from different parts of the world if he has to improve any further of this property ( we liked his kind hearted and humble personality). I highly recommend this property to all coming to Moshi!

Peaceful space. Especially after climbing Kilimanjaro. Good views. Wonderful breakfast!

Location is slightly away from the centre. Cockerel crowing all day from neighbouring properties.

The property was very safe and the staff were outstanding and very helpful. We we felt very at home and Karen and Gabriel were very accommodating to us.

Beautifully designed building with great views of the Kilimanjaro! Lovely outdoor space and garden. Huge, amazing breakfast! The staff and the owner were all very friendly. Uses generator power, so you are not affected during power outages. The owner was very flexible when we needed to change the dates of our stay, which was helpful.

Gabriel was an excellent host and Karen the chef prepared delicious breakfasts as well as excellent local dishes in the evening. The hotel was in a good location and the facilities were as described. My room was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect way to spend some time before I started my trek up Mt. Kilimanjaro. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the dining area as expected and drinks with the owner was fun. if you're looking for a luxury lodge this isn't it. If you are looking for something that is comfortable and rustic (your in Africa to climb Kilimanjaro or go on a safari right), then this is a great transition into your adventure.

Location is not ideal for leaving the property and going for a stroll.
