bei Kliewe im Westfälischen Hof

I'm in the small town of Beckum a few times every year, and the hotel by Kliewe is just wonderful. Very stylish rooms, great service and lovely people. The team helps you if you have any questions and you can really feel the "family" in here! Also, the menu in the restaurant is quite diverse, you can choose from a lot of local recipes and ingredients with a great value for money. I recommend enjoying a cold beer in the "Achterdeck" beergarden.

We have stayed several times in the hotel Westfalisher Hof in Beckum. The rooms are very spacious (especially hard to find in Germany!) and modern with nice accents. The restaurant has great local German cuisine and the staff is very friendly. If you go there, say hi to Thomas Kliewe from us (Americans :). Great stay, will be coming again.

Excellent quality and service for a decent price. The room + bathroom was very spacious, everything was very clean. Nice and helpful staff, breakfast was fine. Parking is available for free. Didn't try the restaurant, but heard it is good.

The hotel is located in the center of Beckum in the market area. The hotel has a back entrance with reserved parking area and the front entrance opens up on the walking only street of the market. The hotel has been newly renovated and now boasts of the best rooms in Beckum. They do lack an elevator for foreign guests like me who travel with heavy suitcases. The hotel is ideal for business travellers. The hotel restaurant is also the best in Beckum and runs full most of the days. Dont forget to reserve a table on weekends. The food served is largely yummy local cuisine and seasonal specialities. The hotel owners are present themselves to serve the guests and take good care of any special requirements.

We booked to stay here one night only to break our car journey from West to East Germany. We wished we had stayed longer. The hotel had good off street parking in the basement, the welcome was warm, genuine and helpful. The decor is bright and fun, unlike some of the more dreary interiors encountered. The pictures, wall hangings and furnishings were creative and colourful. There is a small bar downstairs and a lovely garden bar where we had dinner. The hotel opens into a pedestrian precinct full of immaculate and interesting shops. Our room was lovely with comfortable furnishings, a big bright bathroom and immaculate, shiny surfaces. There was a bottle of sparkling water in the room and a view over the pedestrian street below. The linen was embroidered with the hotel name and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely in the restaurant downstairs and there were fresh flowers on the table. I would definitely stay again.
