Coblentz Country Lodge by Amish Country Lodging

BEING CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN.

WINDOWS WERE NOT CLEAN ON OUTSIDE, COB WEB BY HEADBOARD OF BED. IT FELT MORE LIKE A HOTEL THAN A COTTAGE. DIDN'T LIKE THE FACT THAT THE GARDEN TUB WAS IN THE SAME ROOM AS TV,SOFA,BED. SHOWER DOOR DIDN'T CLOSE ALL THE WAY, IT NEEDED TO BE ADJUSTED. BUT IT WAS CLEAN.

Look and feel of the cabin was excellent. Location was perfect.

No soap dispensers except for one Dawn dish soap bottle for dishes. Had to live to the bathroom so we could wash our hands. Sliding back door lock didn’t work. Tissue paper was low quality. It was an odd detraction from the high feel of the rest of the cabin supplies. Furnace was loud. Heat distribution in the cabin was unbalanced. Upstairs area was about 10 degrees warmer than the downstairs. Odd in a fully open cabin… would have been nice to have a half bath upstairs in the bedroom. Going down the stairs to use the restroom at night when tired takes a bit of concentration to make sure you remain stable.

It was so cozy and clean. We were very happy with our room.

The bedding was very scratchy.
