Pousada Boyrá

Boyrá has a simple elegance that blends with the local forest and river beyond. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. It is hard to overemphasize how warm and attentive were the staff. They anticipated your needs throughout the day, consulting you about lunch or beverage orders. Because of the small size of Boyrá, you truly get personal attention. The Rio Formoso is a few minutes walk on the Boyrá property and offers kayaking and swimming in a peaceful natural setting.

I am elderly and on occasion found walking up and down a central set of steps challenging. Overall, this was not a problem.

The setting is gorgeous, the room was really nice, and everyone was very kind, helpful and welcoming. Dinner was also really good. And if you’re lucky you might even see an anteater on the road to the hotel! We booked the room on a whim because we were tired of staying in downtown Bonito and we were so glad we did. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Bonito!

Thiago and Gregory were the most amazing hotel staff we encountered on our trip- incredibly friendly, generous and genuine. The hotel is in a beautiful remote, yet accessible location, the pool was stunning, and the food delicious. Would 100% stay again.

The room is super clean and has everything one needs. The rest of the property is not only beautiful, but also calm and one can truly relax and enjoy. The staff is amazing, so is the food.

my wife and I came to this amazing Garden of Eden on earth in pre-season at the end of November, unfurtunally we spent only 2 nights, I wish we could spend at least 4! The facilities are amazing, the staff is wonderful, helpful and very friendly and the close access to the river bank provides a major value to this isolated location. you should definitely plan to spend one day just enjoying the Pousada and not making plans and attractions for all your fun days in Bonito area.

The Sup/Kayak board renting on the river was with additional payment, we knew that only on check out. we would pay it anyway because the price is fair but they should share this information in advance.

This is a special place. Beautiful scenery and nature all around. Very relaxing

Not much to dislike... the mini-bar fridge was a bit noisy ;-)

Amazing staff, excellent breakfast and pool. Not crowded like regular hotels because they only have a few rooms. Very peaceful.

A little far from downtown

A really beautiful place! Clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is really friendly. Great food! It is recommended to stay and spend one day enjoying the facilities of the place and the river.
