Borkum Island is partially car free. Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park. Please note that pets are only allowed upon prior request and by confirmation of the property. A deposit may be required at the property.

Tha Spa is very nice. The breakfast buffet is tasty and rich and the location is lovely.

The cleaning stuff simply didnt clean. The mini bar was refilled only one morning, the galsses did not got chainged and we slept with sand in the bed, although we asked very clearly to get the room cleaned up. The answer of the man was that he can not understand where the problemis. As i entered the room i found his working material forgotten in our bathroom. Very unusual for the standard of 4 stars and honestly i trust for this hotel aswell. I susppouse it was one employee just learning on the job. However this bit of the experience impacted me in a negative way and i feel i made the wrong choice to pay 4 stars, reciving less then the usual standard of 4 stars.i will go back to borkum, but most probably will look for another accomodation.
