Hotel Admiral Scheer

Frühstück und Personal super.

Keine Sauna obwohl im Angebot vorhanden.Personal weiß auch nicht warum es im Angebot bei ist.

I stayed at this hotel as I was interested in visiting the U-Boat museum and the Marine memorial, and these were only a few 10’s of meters away. I contacted the hotel to explain that I probably wouldn’t be there at the time I said I would due to delays on the trains, and they explained where my key would be if there was no-one around when I arrived. When I got into my room on arrival, I noticed an item in the toilet; in the morning I spoke to housekeeping and the object was removed before I returned from breakfast. The breakfast was very nice, and well presented, as was my room. If I went to the area again, I would definitely consider staying there again.

I thought the room rate was a little on the high side considering a hotel a little down the road, but still near the attractions I was going to visit, was charging less than 2/3rds the rate I paid; presumably this is why I couldn’t get a room there. . . Nothing to do with the hotel, but worth considering if you are visiting for the beach; the beach isn’t free to use, there are pay-stations along the promenade where you buy a token, or some such, to use it.

Das Frühstück hat Luft nach oben. Die Einrichtung ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber auch seinen Charme. Die Lage ist etwas ab vom Schuss.
