Hotel am Hafen

The location is ideal for Cochem. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Let me say upfront that I would not stay at this hotel again and cannot recommend it. This is not because the staff was unfriendly or unhelpful; quite the contrary. The room was very small and there was very little storage space. The bathroom was tiny...almost as though it had been built inside a closet. In addition, there is no elevator, which might not present a problem for people with light luggage. However, in our case we had 4 suitcases. One of the staff was kind enough to take our luggage up to the third floor, but it was up to us to get it downstairs on checkout.

Der gebuchte Garagenplatz,Frühstück war gut 👍

Wir ein Zimmer mit Mosel Blick gebucht was uns beim ersten von 2 Tagen nicht zu Verfügung stand. Die hälfte der tv Sender war nicht verfügbar. Zweites Zimmer tv ok Mosel Blick super aber im wohnbereich kein tv dafür im Schlafzimmer. Dusche im Bad defekt.

Das Personal im Hotel war stets hilfreich und sehr nett. Vom Check-In mit Einweisung zum Hotelparkplatz im Innenhof bis zum Check-Out war alles super. Wir hatten das letzte Zimmer 2.Etage mit Moselblick. Großer Balkon, begehbar vom kleinen Schlafzimmer mit TV und vom kleinen Wohnzimmer mit Couch und TV. Das Badezimmer war großzügig mit großer Dusche. Das dazugehörige Restaurant war hervorragend, das Frühstück war solide, es gab eine gute Auswahl. Das beste am Hotel ist zweifellos die zentrale Lage auf der “ruhigen” Moselseite und der Ausblick. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das einzige kleine Manko: abends wird das Hotel mit blauen Scheinwerfern angeleuchtet, das sieht von außen toll aus, aber wenn man vom Balkon Fotos von der gegenüberliegenden beleuchteten Altstadt machen will, ist alles in blaues Licht getaucht, auch die Fotos.

Ligging geweldig, mogelijk tot huren eigen parkeergarage voor auto en fietsen. Hotelkamer was schoon en comfortabel. Zelfs streamen Netflix mogelijk. Kluisje, koelkast, koffiefaciliteiten op de hotelkamer. Fijn restaurant bij het hotel voor ontbijt, lunch en diner. Vriendelijk personeel met Nederlandse eigenaresse.

Geen afzuiging in de douche en raam open was te koud, daardoor moest de deur naar de slaapkamer open en ging het brandalarm af in de slaapkamer. Niet de accommodatie, maar omgeving, alles is zeer vroeg gesloten dus weinig vertier in de avond. Restaurants om 21.00 uur max. gesloten, wijnkelders 22.00 uur, maar om 21.30 uur al laatste rondje. Zonde van zo’n prachtige omgeving.
