Sto Roloi Island Houses

Very kindly we were given a little upgrade to a gorgeous little apartment with a lovely terrace, which was perfect for nibbling some pastries! It was so close to the shops and restaurants, but nice and quiet - we slept well!

Extremely friendly - always happy to help from meeting us off the ferry to beach/restaurant recommendations and going above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The flat was lovely and very well located.

We rented the 2 bedroom apartment. It was beautiful and comfortable. The A/C was great in the bedrooms. I can’t say enough good things about Sto Roloi.

Our very compact studio cottage was ingeniously and attractively designed. Somehow we had the benefit of: a kitchen corner with refrigerator, hot water kettle and utensils; a bathroom block with an agreeable shower; a double bed; a small table with two chairs; and a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The cottage is surrounded on three sides by plants which give it a green feeling, and there's a small terrace just large enough for a table and two solid chairs (which was great for breakfast). The cottage is conveniently located, looks out on to the harbor and is very peaceful. The servicing of the room was very satisfactory. We particularly appreciated that Florian met us at the ferry dock, led us to the cottage, carried our suitcases up the 35 steps, provided a handy map, and gave us valuable tips as to restaurants and walks. The checkout was easy, and Florian again helped us with our luggage.

Our only serious complaint is the absence of access to the Internet. We could connect to the network but the network had no connection to the Internet. At first we were told that the WiFi/Internet was fine. (It wasn't!!) Then we were informed that the wind had damaged or disrupted the connection to the Internet, and there was nothing to be done until the service provider solved the problem. Potential guests who attach importance to good Internet access might like to verify that the Internet problem has indeed been solved. (To put things in perspective, on the whole access to the Internet is not a problem in Poros: LTE is available as are public networks.) Tastes with respect to mattresses and beds vary greatly. I will note just that both my wife and I found the mattress to be too soft and spongy.
