Albergo Palazzo Sant'Anna Gerace

Incastonata in uno dei borghi più belli e suggestivi d'Italia, la struttura vanta una posizione straordinaria, con vista mozzafiato sulla costa ionica. Gli ambienti comuni e le camere sono curati e arredati con sobrietà ed eleganza, in armonia con l'impianto monastico dell'edificio. Il personale è cordialissimo e sollecito.

Uitstekend ontbijt. Prachtige ligging en prachtig zicht. Gastheer Simone is een komisch figuur die doet denken aan Roberto Benigni (la Vita è bella).

We kwamen aan in de stortregen en vonden eerst de hoofdingang niet.

We loved staying in a place with so much history, and the view from both our room and the terrace was fantastic. Simon, the manager, is super friendly and has an evident love for his town. He is also a wealth of knowledge about what to see there and in the surrounding area. The breakfasts were wonderful and large - the best of our trip complete with hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cuts and cheese, bread, cornetti, cereals, cakes, regional biscuits and a variety of fresh fruit! Gerace itself was a delight and traveling with a rental car we also found it much easier to drive up to and park in than some of the other hill towns we have visited this trip.

I loved the location overlooking the Ionian Sea. The view from my room was spectacular. Simone, the manager, was very accommodating and was very attentive to anything questions or needs that I had. His restaurant suggestions, his recommendation for places to see and visit and his kindness and professionalism went above and beyond..

There was nothing not to like.
