"Very good"

8.0

It was a nice place with nice food and people, and also the only place on the trail where I saw other hikers for Pekoe. It's a good location for the trail and there were lots of options for dinner and breakfast.

I really wish they had mosquito nets in the rooms - it was amazingly comfortable but that wasn't great.

"Nice but they should work on the maintenance"

6.0

Beautiful colonial house, amazing garden, Sri and his crew was kind and helpful. Delicious food (but always the same served for dinner and breakfast)

Not clean. We arrived on the rainy day and from the ceiling water was dropping. Plenty of bugs. (Bedbugs, cockroach and others)

"Amazing place"

10.0

The room was very nice and a great size. The food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. The best bit for us was the tea plantation tour. The guide was so knowledgeable, it was worth every penny. There’s no alcohol here so if you do like a beer you will need to buy your own and he will happily put it on the fridge for you

The bungalow is set in the most beautiful surroundings it would have been nice sit outside but the seating was very limited

"It was ok in wonderful scenery"

7.0

Breakfast good as was supper .

Bathroom completely flooded after short shower, no WIFI at all ( they said there had been a storm recently) no knowledge of local area I think that’s because they weren’t from the area but had been shipped in to run the bungalow. Asked for a beer at dinner and one of the lads drove down into Hatton 20 minutes away to buy it , that was a bit random

The location although not easy to find was stunning

The curtains in the bathroom were mouldy and the shower flooded the whole bathroom, some damp and smelt a little mouldy

"Exceptional"

Firstly, the location in the middle of tea plantations is great. The hotel has a few walking trails nearby and you can take a Tuk Tuk to the beginning of a trail and walk back to the hotel. The views walking on Pekoe trail 8 are amazing with Adam's Peak in the distance when you are at the highest point if the trail. Secondly the staff are amazing. The meals at the hotel were so delicious, there is no need to eat anywhere else. If you want a base to explore the tea country and Adam's Peak this is a great choice. The hotel manager Murali looked after our every need from organizing Tuk Tuk or taxi to rescuing us from a trail when we could not get back before nightfall.

"Super stay amongst tea plantations"

9.0

Location - Location- Location. Views from the bungalow are simply stunning. Can walk out straight out of the door for short walks or great place to stopover for the Pekoe Trail. Staff were super friendly and food fabulous.

The plumbing in the bathroom. Often low water pressure- sometimes none.
