Tea Queens Bungalow

Everything was beautiful, comfortable and quiet, the house in the middle of tea plantations, almost like a movie. And Siri the administrator was so helpful and servicial, always willing to help with a smile, he prepared some bananas for us for our hiking to Siri Pada, very nice of him. I would back without doubt.

Everything was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast was very good. It was our best accommodation after two weeks in Sri Lanka.

the staff are very friendly, helpful and attentive. we climbed Adams peak from here and the staff helped arrange a taxi to take us and bring us back and also shown us round the tea fields, told us the history of the tea houses and some information about wildlife in the area. the food we had here was the best Sri Lankan food we’ve had the whole trip, made fresh for us each evening and so much of it! the views are also incredible, you can walk to a nearby village too.

some issues with the shower, lower water pressure and didn’t stay warm for very long at all.

My recent stay at The Tea Bungalow in Norwood, Hatton, Sri Lanka, was an experience I'll cherish forever. The host, Rimas, was a standout feature of our stay. His kindness and attention to detail made us feel welcomed and valued. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, setting the tone for a memorable visit. Equally commendable were the culinary delights prepared by Cook Mahendran and Fernando. Despite the rest of the staff being on public holidays, they managed to provide us with an array of delicious meals that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Their skill and dedication were evident in every dish they served. But what truly makes The Tea Bungalow a magical place is its location in Norwood. The natural beauty and serene atmosphere of this area are unparalleled. It's a place where one can truly relax and reconnect with nature. The landscapes, the calmness, and the overall ambiance of Norwood are what makes it the best place I've visited in Ceylon so far. In summary, The Tea Bungalow is a gem in the heart of Sri Lanka, offering impeccable service, delicious food, and a peaceful environment. It's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting.

The water service has to be done in bathrooms, many water lines are not working.

One of the best locations in Sri Lanka, nestled among tea plantations. A beautiful place for nature lovers. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. They made our stay one of the most memorable ones. Very delicious home cooked breakfast and dinner! Thank you Rimas, Priyan, and other supporting staff! Rimas is familiar with Hatton and its surrounding places and he guided us to tea plantations and shared his valuable information about culture and heritage.

Though the facilities are good, provision of toiletries, etc., could have been better. Thank you!
