Close to old town and nice staff

Run down ,not clean and felt a little un safe. Not what was advertised in photos . I only stayed 3 nights couldn't wait to get out . Think I was charged the full rate ?? The lady at reception was helpful and kind though. She understood my distress.

Great location with an easy walk over the bridge into Old Town. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket along the way, which made everything very convenient. The reception staff were kind and helpful during the rest of my stay. The breakfast was excellent – I especially loved having a balcony to myself to enjoy a Vietnamese breakfast each morning. It was a really peaceful way to start the day

My arrival experience was pretty stressful. I had arranged an airport transfer with the hotel and clearly communicated that I would be arriving around midnight. I was assured that someone would be there to check me in. However, the driver dropped me off and left, and there was no staff present. I was instructed via message to go to a room that had been set aside for me, but it was already occupied. I then had to wake a security guard who was asleep on the floor at reception. It appeared I had been double booked, and I was asked to sleep in a neighbouring property for the night before being moved the next day. As a solo female traveller arriving late at night in a new country, having to wake two sleeping men and deal with this situation alone felt unsafe and stressful. It’s a lovely place with lovely staff and mistakes happen - but keep this in mind if arriving late.
