"Beautiful views"

-Dinner and breakfast was great with enough choices -Pillows on bed was excellent quality - Spacious bathroom with jet bath (didn't utilise) and shower -View and atmosphere wonderful - Staff was friendly - Lots of fire wood and lovely fireplace

- The room had a damp smell and with rain there was a leak in bathroom ceiling. A towel was strategically placed on counter so they must be aware of situation. - No wi-fi - TV channels very limited with only E TV channels. TV also quite small for size of room - Bodum in room but no filter coffee

"stepping back in time, in a good way!"

What a beautiful, graceful old-style homestead! Old Halliwell is lovely, it's like stepping back in time - in a good way! Tranquil and cosy, surrounded by exquisite gardens overlooking a lovely view of the countryside. Our breakfast was superb (especially the avo and poached eggs on artisan bread with honey mustard mayo, just wow!). The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our bed was very comfortable, I've not slept that well in months!

The only slight criticism is the carpet in our room could have done with a vacuuming.

"Outstanding grounds with beautiful horses"

The grounds are outstanding and the food was good. The Inn looks beautiful from the outside. It was lovely to have a fireplace in the room as we arrived on a cold misty day

The carpets and couch have seen better days
