Its our 3rd stay in 1 and a half years at this heritage country hotel. We love the history of the place and the amazing garden and grounds. We like lighting a fire in the room and the food is good. Anne at reception is wonderful and so is Sindy at breakfast. The lounge area to just sit and relax is great.

There was nothing we couldn't overlook with this being a heritage hotel.

Hospitality ; location. Character of the hotel

bathroom plumbing is not ok. When opening a tap, it sounds like to entire system is going to explode. Although clean, the hotel could do with a face lift.

"Overall experience was good, but the pictures on the internet were not a true reflection of the room"

Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful and friendly.

The room did not have a stand alone shower, tv channels were very limited.
