Staff were really polite and helpful, the room was big and elegant. And the view from the balcony was really amazing

The Air conditioner was not cooling at all and it was really hot that day, we couldn’t sleep at all. They have provided us with a fan but it really didn’t do any difference. TV have no English Channels and all the signs in German language

Nothing! This is a geriatric hospital for over 70 year olds and SHOULD not be listed as a normal hotel in booking!!!!!

The lies! We were there for a romantic mini break and had to beg them to cancel the reservation and find something else. Shame on you for advertising a geriatric facility, utterly depressing, as a nice hotel in the alps.

I did not appreciate the way staff handled my needs. I had a concerning ear pain when I arrived at the hotel and the woman working at the front desk offered to see if she could ask a nurse or doctor to come up to my room to check it out! I was impressed and amazed but nothing happened… I called later and another woman said that wouldn’t be possible that day. The next day, I asked again and the same first woman said she would send a doctor up to my room in the next ten minutes. I waited and waited. I called an hour later and she said it wasn’t possible. Was she ever going to call me to let me know? Then they said the shuttle could drop me off at a “clinic.” I said okay. Came to see it was the hospital and I ended up waiting five hours there to get help. Quite a fiasco.

Beautiful view

This is a Kurhotel which the receptionist assumed we understood the meaning of. Basically this is a rehab facility and feels and operates like a hospital. It should not be on booking.com without a proper description.

Good hotel, excellent location and views. Balcony was great. Lucerne is a vibrant city, a 10 minute drive away. Recommend St Gotthard Pass and beyond, amazing scenery.

We didn’t read the small print that this hotel specialises in accommodation for over 70s.
