Darnley Lodge Hotel

The staff were exceptional. Couldn’t do enough. Just the best ever! Breakfast was a delight too. Had a very early start and chef came in especially early to take care of us. Marvellous.

The bed was a double, and the room could easily have accommodated a king size. I’d say the mattress had seen a fair bit of action over the years and needed to be replaced.

The bar and lounge was very good , breakfast and dinner both delicious. The town was full of small pubs with many friendly people

The beds in the rooms were u comfortable and the rooms were very out of fashion , the town was small with old fashioned pubs with and older age group there , not a great area for young people

I very much respected the staff during my stay, they were very formal amd greeted me with pleasure. Assisted me when I needed there help.

Nothing at all quite honestly, I very much enjoyed my stay, Thank you for having me at your hotel. I would definitely come back if i ever have the opportunity again👍

Very friendly staff, and the breakfast was excellent.

Hotel was comfortable and staff attentive , especially Katie very chatty and friendly. Breakfast was superb and loved the stove fires !
