Parklane Hotel

The location was great for the Dussehra festival near the palace. The pool was clean and welcomed. The beer garden was handy and we enjoyed the sitar and drum music in the evening. They offer a wide range of foods at decent prices.

The place is generally grubby and not well maintained. The odd short power outage. Stingy with the water bottles. Service at the beer garden was hot and cold. Sometimes fast and friendly and sometimes our food came out at very different times. Wifi was poor for my eSIM. No hand towels offered and only one pool towel in our room (and none by the pool) so we had to share.

They didn’t provide complimentary breakfast after charging so much for one day. I asked for slippers but they said they don’t provide it. Room was small in terms of the cost
