"A good experience, but the property eould benefit from some maintenance."

The hot water was always cold; the cold tap on the bathroom sink did not work.

"The location and grounds are wonderful, yet the rooms are not well maintained"

The staff are hospitable and helpful. The property is charming and historical. It is a wonderful place to hang out. The common areas are atmospheric and the gardens are beautiful. The restaurant serves delicious food.

The building has sadly fallen into disrepair. The hotel rooms are damp and filled with mosquitos unfortunately. It is a real shame. It may be that some rooms are better than others.

"Great overnight experience in an old palace."

Great traditional experience in an old palace. Beautiful garden restaurant and courtyard cafe. Helpful and friendly staff.

The location is on a very busy main road with unrelenting traffic noise. The room was quite hot as there is no AC.

"Very good"

The Green Hotel is an oasis of tranquility in a busy city. The main palace house is beautiful and full of antiquated charm. We were lucky to be put in touch with a terrific tuk tuk driver who became a guide and transport for all things yoga and all things Mysore. His name is Shiva Shankar and the team at the Green Hotel can easily connect you with him.

"Unavailable an immature staff that don't care to create good experiences"

Ambiance

Mold in my room next to my head that caused breathing difficulties, nothing for a person gluten free and vegetarian to eat for breakfast and rude staff in the mornings. No room cleaning for 5 days. The front desk staff are atrocious, uncommunicative and even someone drunk at the front desk in NYE saying there are no hotel staff after 6pm. A manger that was never around. And no one to ask for help. Once one of my favorite places in mysore
