very good location. very clean room. breakfast very good.

When comes to check out I have been asked how I am going to pay. card or cash. When explained that I already paid via booking.com, I have been asked to pay extra £25 for breakfast. When I explain that breakfast meant to be included, I have been asked again to pay £25 for some food I have had day before. By the way I never order any food. Long story short I Did not pay anything, but this situation broke good experience I have had until then.

Good breakfast, good location. Good communication with staff in the morning.

Very narrow parking space, hardly could enter the car or take our luggage. Room dated, shower leaking from side of hose.

This was the best of the four hotels we've stayed on our holiday. Very nice host, beautiful and quiet room, well equipped, nice bathroom. The dinner and breakfast were of high quality and the waiters were very observant and polite. Cosy city. This is a hotel to remember and revisit.

The hotel is Nice and quiet. Placed in the city center, with restaurant and bar. The rooms are Nice and clean, with good bathrooms. The breakfast is more than adequate. Late arrival is not a problem, and prices are good.

The hotel is quite aged, the interior without much style, but functional. The room was clean, although the rugs could need a deep cleaning due to all the stains. However, bath was very clean. Breakfast is of good quality, but not much variety.

Elmar Samson has the most wonderful "personal" hotel. During our recent international sales meeting we were served wonderful food during the day, every attention to detail was provided and he personnally took the group on a 7km hike to a friends farm for an excellent evening bbq - this included a stop on the way for a beer - kindly driven out to us by his wife! His hotel is extremely well run with everyone speaking excellent English and providing guests with anything they need - when then need it! Elmar also arranged taxis for us to get to the local main line railway station for our return trip to Australia. So, many thanks Elmar. Your hotel lived up to its excellent recommendations. It was a pleasure to stay with you again. I stay in a wide range of hotels around the world - this is one of the best!

The Samson family treated us wonderfully. We almost felt like part of the family. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and the food we ate was exquisite. As we were on a personal mission, everyone at the hotel helped us in our search. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a great experience.
