"Perfectly located boutique hotel with excellent staff."

Property is a four minute walk to the beach, perfectly located. Staff is very friendly, especially Luis with all of his excellent recommendations. The restaurant was delicious too, will definitely stay again.

"Excellent stay at The Sunset Shack"

We had an amazing stay at The Sunset Shack. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Courteous and responsive staff. The restaurant on site offers an excellent breakfast and has a great food and cocktail menu, reasonably priced for Nosara. Pool is relaxing and quiet. Great location, close to the beach and everything else. Would stay here again.

My only very minor recommendation is to bring the pool cushions in when it rains. They dont dry well with the humidity and were often soaking wet even the next morning.

Excellent location. Nice basic hotel offering great value. Nice rooms and pool.

Office is open for first part of the day, after that the restaurant staff is the point of contact.
