Norte Nosara - Steps to Playa Guiones

L hôtel est magnifique, des superbes bugalows modernes et tres propres , au cœur de la végétation ,une piscine avec cascade, parfaite pour l après-surf. Le personnel est au petits soins et très efficace, et les propriétaires absolument adorable. Nous avons aimé aussi, la possibilité de faire du yoga à l hôtel, dans une ambiance très zen, la proximité des restaurants et des commerces, ainsi que la plage de Guiones à 3 mn à pied, pour aller surfer. Le rapport qualité/prix est en plus imbattable pour un hôtel de cette qualité. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation dans cet établissement, lors de notre prochain séjour.

Great location near the beach. The room was very clean and smelled amazing. I really liked that they placed an aroma diffuser with a lovely scent after cleaning. Also enjoyed the pool area. There is a coffee machine in the room with good coffee.

It would be nice to have mosquito screens on the windows so I could get some fresh air and keep mosquitoes out. I was also a little worried about the payment through the link they send. It's good to know this before booking.

Beautifully appointed rooms and grounds with a calm vibe that really embodied its yoga element. In room massage therapy and surf lessons were both awesome!Friendly and helpful staff. Especially Kevin & Ari, Cristina (surf instructor) & Cindy (massage therapist).

Communication about what is available before and during stay. Bar/restaurant was closed until october, 2 of the 3 classes I tried to attend did not occur without a cancellation notification. I found out at the property that all classes and services are cash only

I don't generally leave reviews -- this place deserves it. I think it's the best hotel I've seen anywhere in Nosara. * right in the midst of all cafes and restaurants that are actually worth walking too -- if you look on google maps for cafe, you can see they are all around the hotel * right next to TWO vegan restaurants * yoga schedule was full despite being low season. that meant I even got the classes if it was just me. all the teachers are lovely. * The two guys running the hotel (Kevin & ?) are particularly lovely and made me feel at home from my arrival -- lots of help with transit, cafes, food, shopping, whatever. * super close to the beach -- quick walk with the surf board * the rooms had strong AC, excellent hot water, fridges with freezer, coffee machines (like a nespresso), comfy beds, and very strong wifi (10 MB/s) * other other yoga hotels are "fortresses" -- far away from everything, nothing around, high walls, everybody stays here. In Hotel Norte you can have it all without that feeling, and you have lots of options where to eat / what to do, etc.

Rooms are too small to accommodate a family. We had to sleep in separate rooms.

Perfect location in downtown Nosara, staff was top-notch and the hotel was beautiful from shala, to pool, to my room

Great location, chill fun vibes, tons of yoga classes! Excellent staff!

- No onsite restaurant (though there is something connected it’s not part of the hotel). The bar has some snacking options which is great, but almost every hotel I looked into in the area has a delicious breakfast included with the stay. - Also, Norte boasts a lovely yoga shala and a packed schedule of classes. NONE of that is included with the stay - I wouldn’t expect to do free yoga all day but I would think one daily class is included. Again, for the other hotels offering yoga in the area, pretty much all of them that I considered had one free daily class. With the amazing yoga offerings at the hotel, one free class (or even one class during your stay) would be a nice touch. - The doors to the rooms (they are all standalone but structures) have no seal whatsoever. There is a sizable gap between the actual door and the door casing below and all the way around. I noticed it on the other rooms as well. I didn’t have issues but right away I was concerned about bugs. Again, i didn’t end up with issues (only stayed 2 nights) but it’s something that should be fixed. another guest said crabs got into their room, perhaps this was how.

The on site restaurants serves amazing Açaí bowls for breakfast and great cocktails for happy hour. The staff are super friendly and our daughter participated in some of the yoga events geared toward kids, which allowed my wife and I to really and enjoy a cocktail. The hotel is a great location and you can walk to restaurants and bars (plus an ATM machine) and the beach.
