Malika Nungwi Hotel

The manager and his family were vey kind and friendly. Staff were also nice

Power went off several times and no AC when that happened. No water refills. To refill soap was always after several attempts. Food not that great. For the price we paid, we expected more. The bed was not comfortable.

First of all, the staff is very helpful and tries very hard to answer any request. Communication with the reception is via WhatsApp, which is very convenient. The answer is usually within a few minutes. Regarding the facilities at the hotel, such as the pool and restaurant, etc., everything is clean and very nice and comfortable Regarding the rooms, a basic standard room, including a bedside cabinet and air conditioning, the bed is comfortable

There are many power outages in the city, when the hotel's generator is turned on, the lighting works but without air conditioning, which is very problematic. Secondly, the shower and toilet are not maintained properly, there was broken ceramic in the shower, the faucet did not work properly in the shower, and in the sink, the paint on the faucet was peeling

The location is superb. Close(5min walk) to nungwi beach. 7min drive with taxi to Kendwa Beach. Supermarkets all over. Restaurants all over the beach front. Lovely pool.staff was friendly and helpful .whenever there was an issue it was attended to immediately..the staff made the stay ok.

Aircon and wifi issues.reception and front entrance was shoddy locking. Everything was old and dated. The furniture,entrance, restaurant. Ants all over. Spa room was dark and dreary looking..you couldn't take their towels to the beach .the hotel needs an upgrade for the price you pay. Food was ok.but the same most mornings. Mass production food leading to lower quality and less variety. It wasnt too terrible but it was not what we expected either.
