Masseria Cervarolo

I hadn't stayed at the Masseria since May 2016 and had forgotten how many boxes it ticks if you want a comfortable, peaceful base in a beautiful part of Puglia within easy reach of Ostuni, Bari, Lecce, Matera, the coast etc. This time we had a quadruple junior suite [a double + two single beds] at one end of the main building which was ideal for three females aged 26 to 77 and cost around £375 per night with breakfast. Although the rooms aren't luxurious, they have great charm, eclectic furnishings [a passion of the owner's son] and are kept spotless by the cleaning team. The Masseria isn't large but the accommodation is spread out so it doesn't feel overcrowded - though this may change in summer if there are more children around. The large pool is a bonus with plenty of seats and a good pool bar. The other bonus is the reception and restaurant staff [thank you Sabina, Lucia and Imma]. Restaurant recommendations were excellent. My only criticism would be the dinner menu which was the same all week and didn't showcase the abundant good, fairly simple food available locally. Many dishes seem to have been "tarted up" unnecessarily in contrast to the lunch menu which was delicious and much more straightforward.

If you want to have a serenity in your holiday, peaceful, beautiful view, and of course low noise level. This is the right place also for you. I love the location in the middle, so it's really easy to visit different places. The room is pretty small, which i can understand because it was built in 16 century, but it is very clean, and all the Amenities you need are complete, from hair dryer to face cotton. The service was great, all the staffs are so friendly and helpful. Overall the value for money is good and what i missed now is the fresh breakfast at Masseria Cervarolo with fresh mozzarella, stracciatella, prociuto soo good.

Everything was wonderful! Beautiful property, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, helpful staff and delicious food. I would definitely stay again!

We went to the Masseria for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. We stayed in a trullo which was such a cool experience! The grounds were very beautiful and so peaceful. All of the staff were very attentive - they were so accommodating, kind, and did everything to make our experience the best! The food was AMAZING - we had the special Easter lunch menu, and they outdid themselves. Breakfast was also always so fresh and delicious. The location of this masseria is also wonderful, very close to nearby attractions and cities. The only downside was that the pool is not heated, so we were unable to use it.
