A little dated

Very dirty. Door was opening by itself if the wind was stronger. Bathtub is absolutely disgusting and leaking water. Tried using the shoe polish machine in the corridor and got slightly electricuted. Breakfast spread is soo low budget. This hotel does not deserve to have 4 stars.

The outdoor pool is very nice.

There were bedbugs in the room, eating us during the night. The staff did not even say they were sorry or seemed to take any notice of it when we informed them. They let us change room, but did not offer any help with our luggage, or said anything about how they would handle the problem. I can only assume they gave the infested room to someone else. I also got a few bites during the night at the next room, and I suppose there were bedbugs there too, as it was in the same corridor. We have had so much extra trouble handling and freezing our luggage when we got back home, to avoid getting bedbugs in our home. The room was very dirty and the floor carpets filthy and old. The shower had a terrible smell. The food was terrible. Only one of the staff members offered a smile during the three nights we spent. We will never go back. Stay away!

The pool was totaly cold!

This is the place where our family always returns. Despite the passing of time and the aging furniture, we remain unfazed. While I've explored many other modern hotels, this one exudes a unique charm. Primarily, it's the warmth of the people that sets it apart; kindness seems to be ingrained in their very nature. The surrounding nature adds to the magic of the hotel. Subotica, nearby, is a must-visit, as is Palić Lake. The atmosphere is infused with a sporting spirit, and the people here are simply joyful.

The quality of food could use enhancement—less salt and a focus on healthier options would be beneficial. Cleanliness standards are not at the pinnacle, and regarding the furniture, it's evident that an update is overdue if the hotel wishes to maintain its four-star status. The towels seem to have seen a decade of use. However, all shortcomings are overshadowed by the genuine kindness of the staff.
