The Seacliffe - Whitby

Nice clean room with sea views. Binoculars were a nice touch. Perfect for couples. Perfect for Goth weekend which was the reason for our stay. Parking was easy with scratchcard. I forgot to bring my parking disc but hotel parking scratch card exempt you from the 3 hour stay and allows 48 hours. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Shower was amazing, bathroom very clean. Lots of space. Conveniently located. Better and more spacious than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in.

Breakfast was heavy on bread quantity and a bit low on protein items. A little less bread and a bit more on the bacon or salmon would make it a nicer portion but no complaints apart from that! The breakfast was included in room price. Food was very nice. Only flavoured yoghurts were available but no ordinary yoghurt.

The dining room and bedroom felt cramped. Parking is on-street which can be a challenge if the beach area is busy.

The room and entire premises were clean and tidy at all times

we had no problem parking on the street but at peak times I could see this as a problem, the hotels parking is very limited and this should be clarified on booking.coms entry
