Its close to town and staff are friendly and accommodating. I like that its per friendly.

The bed was not comfortable because bed sheet always comes off. It reminds me of a hospital bed. Its not disable friendly because the ground floor has steps but no ramp.

poor configuration of the bed which make it difficult to get off the bed if one is on the other side of the bed. too low water pressure hence one can not use the water heater, though they fix it later. the room is too small for comfort, there is not even enough space to open the luggage, you have to put the luggage into the bed in order to open it each time.

Had a very comfortable stay here in Hotel Espineli. Rooms are very very clean, staff are welcoming and location of the hotel is close to everywhere you need to run errands in Balayan. They also have a back up power generator. When we were there we were one of the lucky ones who have electric power in the town. Superb!

We spent one night in this terrible hotel and it was for me one of the worst experiences I ever got from a hotel. We woke up to a very loud noise coming from a steel cutting machine in front of our room. It is important that you take into account that something intangible, is just as important or more important than something tangible. The guest is going to appreciate being treated politely much more than a sale. We stayed at Espineli thinking that we were going to be relaxing and enjoying our weekend. Instead we were very frustrated that with the noise that no one seemed to care about. Very disappointed, giving anyone a reason to leave a bad review!

This quaint hotel is the best if you visit south of batangas in Balayan, where the infamous bagoong is located. Well sanitized, very clean, safe and kid friendly. Service is at par with popular hotels in Manila. Will definitely come back and stay again.
