"Sustainable stay."

Location.. Cleanliness.Room space, Bed.. Breakfast.. Parking.. WiFi..Front desk..

TV was not working.. Though it was double occupancy,only one dental kit was provided..No hand towel. At 7. 30 in the morning there was no hot water..No shower cap..For small small things we can't call reception every time.

"Staff are great but stay wasn’t."

The Chef is highly recommended! The staff are all very kind but most do not understand English, so if you are a foreigner, please be patient with them. They are truly kind and good people.

Hot water, meaning “lukewarm” water is limited. I was moved to another room that had warmer water in which I had no choice but to settle on it. Sheets and comforters/duvet were stale, musky smelling. Towels smelled like it had been hung there for a long time. I did ask for replacements, and house cleaning promptly changed it. Sheets and all were then smelling fresh. Calling the kitchen was quite frustrating. There was much confusion as the staff spoke limited English. So be patient and try to explain what you want slowly until it is clearly understood. As I previously stated, they are kind people. There was a wedding going on during my stay so keep in mind that the walls are thin, and when there is noise, it echos throughout the entire floor. I stayed there 4 nights and was unable to sleep until 3-4 am. There was constant door slamming, screaming, laughing, etc. I was forced to get up and get management around 1 am to come talk to the wedding party. Even this did not work, as they continued to do their thing until I had to literally get up again to go talk to the wedding party myself. The first room (3010) lacked hot water, even after I had the shower run for 15-20 minutes. The second room (3006) was on the busy side of the street. There was traffic’s noise until 1-2 am, then there was the train that ran until whatever time it was that I finally fell asleep between 3-4 am. So, try not to stay on the side of the busy traffic. I was exhausted daily as I lacked sleep. I do not plan on returning to this hotel. The only great thing about this hotel was the chef, the kind staff, and the GM…. But realistically, we need sleep. The price I paid was not worth it. It was a costly mistake, as I previously read good reviews of this hotel.

The breakfast was very good. We had a variety of dishes to chose from. The staff at the hotel was cordial. Thumbs up to Melvyn for the excellent room service and for due assistance during breakfast. A big thank you for the front office. Overall a good and pleasant stay.
