Hotel Costanza

La posizione centrale raggiungibile facilmente dall'aeroporto

Main location and friendly staffs. We arrived 1 hour earlier, and could leave our bags at the reception. We got important details through whatsapp- that was nice! Finally, the hotel had really good price!

The city tax was higher than what we read in the booking email. At first I was suprised cause I didn't understand that, but in the end I accepted it and paid the new sum (16>> 24 euros). Overly, the room is small and okay (we only used it for sleep after exhausting daily tours), but really needed to maintaining/renovating- it would make it more comfortable. Also, although we were informed that our hotel shares its staff (receptionists) with another hotel, the difference was noticeable- for example one wing (Constanza) was always open, while the other entrance (Sofia) was always closed in the evenings. The Constanza was safe at night too, but it was a strange guest experience. Finally, in the last 3 nights unfortunately, we had to listen to the washingmachine running in the other door (all night!)- which was uncomfortable :/ However, I don’t regret booking this accommodation, as we overall had a great time and were able to relax. I only mentioned the negative aspects in the hope that, if they are taken into consideration, the place can become even better (especially with this cool location!).

La struttura si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare Catania, dato che è sulla via etnea, isola pedonale con negozi e ristoranti (attenti a non attraversarla con la macchina perché ZTL). La stanza dove ho soggiornato era molto ampia e pulita. Cortese il personale.
