Schöne Wohnung im Dach, gut eingerichtet, Klimaanlage, sehr freundliches Personal

Haus hat kein Lift, für Personen mit Gehproblemen ist die Wohnung im 3. Stock deshalb schwierig zu erreichen.

The hotel is located in a beautiful village above Locarno, close to Verzasca valley. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful. They provide the Ticino ticket. There are many hiking possibilities.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber, die Zimmer modern und ansprechend ausgestattet. Das Personal war hilfsbereit, insgesamt hat das Hotel für ein Dreisterne-Hotel einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausbaufähig. Es hatte nur eine kleine Auswahl von allem, z.B. Brot, nur eine Sorte Käse, kein hochwertiges Müsli etc. Es gab leider jeden Tag genau dasselbe.

The drive up from the lake promised spectacular panoramic views, but the view from the room was over the bus stop and a building opposite. Reception closed at 15.30 despite Booking.com saying to book in from 16.30, so greeted with an envelope in a box. On site restaurant and bar were closed, a notice on the door saying to use restaurant 400m down the road, which turned out to be expensive. Electric outlets needed special adaptors which were available from reception but reception was never open. Difficult to communicate with staff in English, but we were helped out by fellow German guests.

Loved the location. Set in a beautiful historical village. Very friendly staff. Shame our balcony view room was impeded by an ugly building across the road. Also, the restaurant wasn’t open so very limited dining options in the village.

The room was hot. There was a fan available.
