We appreciated the renovated rooms, which were comfortable, well air-conditioned, and provided a good night’s sleep. The beds were comfortable, and the room offered the amenities needed for a pleasant and convenient stay. We also enjoyed the restaurant. While some of the prices were comparable to those of regular restaurants in the area, the food was excellent and very enjoyable. The dishes had a home-cooked feel while maintaining a high level of quality and presentation. Another aspect we liked was that this is a family-run property. The two sisters and their mother were friendly, welcoming, and full of character, creating a warm and personal atmosphere that made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.

On the downside, while our room was clearly renovated and comfortable, the hotel as a whole feels somewhat dated and could benefit from a refresh in some areas. There was a sense that the property may have seen its peak years in the past, and an overall renovation would help bring the common spaces up to the same standard as the updated rooms.

What can I say that hasn’t already been mentioned multiple times in previous posts!! Myself & a friend had the privilege of staying for 6 days… the hotel is a small family run business, 2 daughters & mum, plus other great members of the team (chefs, receptionist, maid). The wonderful daughters dealing with customers day in, day out, are 2nd to none & go way beyond the expected requirements of hosting. Their mum is so warm, charming & caring… all 3 of them spend their entire time working so hard, but yet the whole mechanics come across as completely effortless in what is an extremely pressurised environment. I’ve had the privilege of frequenting many hotels in different countries over the years & my expectations have never differed… clean room, comfortable sleep & good breakfast… tick, tick, tick. But this hotel offers more than those requirements in abundance. Perfect, quiet, great location & with fabulous restaurant. Only 10-15 min walk to town (1 review said 25! Perhaps they were crawling! 😄). I’m also in awe of how many languages the sisters speak in order to liaise with guests… Fluent English, Croatian & Italian, heard them talking French & German too. Just felt the need to write a review in order to not only praise the whole operation for potential future bookings, but to acknowledge how appreciative we were of the huge effort & hospitality that were shown throughout our extended stay. Thank you all so much for making our 1st holiday in Croatia so special & giving us a reason to return again one day. Missing all your smiles already. Puno vam hvala, Thank you so much, Grazie mille
