Hotel Gertraud

Check-in was great, room was great. Parking was great also.

The mattress was plain awful, way too soft, and there was a huge sinkhole in the middle. Your sole purpose as a hotel is to provide a good night's rest on a quality mattress, and this completely failed to deliver.

All was perfect

Rooms seem newly renovated and they're extremely comfortable. Plenty of wood, spacious bathrooms and great balconies (must be fantastic in the summer). We went for half board and couldn't be happier with dishes and selection of sides. The hotel is family run and everyone tries their best to accommodate your needs. An absolute gem. Ample free parking and convenient ski room. We used the car to reach the ski resort around 1km away.

The room was spacious and well equiped. The bed area and bathroom were very neat and tidy and very clean. We had half board (dinner and breakfast) and it was fabulous. We were given 4 courses for dinner (soup, salad, main and dessert) and breakfast was a buffet which consisted of meats, cheeses, pastries, bread, cold and hot drinks and was plentiful. The area is lovely, but since it wasn't tourist season the town store closes half day. We would certainly stay there again and for longer.

Great breakfast and dinner. Really appreciated the presence of the spa, although a bit small especially when the hotel is full. The room was spacious, with a nice balcony and mountain view.

We had half board (breakfast and dinner included). Despite this, we have been charged with bottled water for each dinner, at a cost of 4,5 Euro per 1L bottle (total of 13,5 Euro), definitely too expensive. Moreover, having an electrical car, we thought that the charging was free, as a hotel service for guests. This is the first time we had to pay for it. Lastly, the dinner time was too strict 19:00-19.30. We would have preferred a more flexible dinner time, due to the fact that we were on mountains holidays which means many hiking trips, and sometimes we could have finished late.
