Hotel Uhu Garni - Superior

The room was clean and fresh and the beds changed daily. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast choices were fantastic. The fresh fruit, yoghurts, deli, pastries etc were in big supply. The breakfast area was lovely with a nice, relaxed ambience. It is on a quiet street on the outskirts of Cologne and is also near public transport. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. My son and I had a very comfortable and relaxed stay. This hotel represents excellent value for money. I'm very surprised it's only a 3 star.

Nothing. If I choose Cologne for a short break in the future, I will not hesitate to stay here.

Very well situated in a quiet location, providing very easy access to Koln itself via the S bahn Breakfast was good

Sits in a drab neighbourhood where the neighbouring property has graffiti on it. Rooms were well maintained but a bit basic when it came to furnishings. Staff weren’t particularly helpful.

Excellent breakfast area and food, lots of choices. I personally like oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. Friendly and helpful staff. Accommodating us by giving us packed breakfast to go on our last day. Very good location, close to transit. Overall, it is a comfy place.

The elevator was not available for use when we had to leave very early at 4:45am. Taking heavy luggage down the steps was not fun. Would be nice if i could have a boiled egg and sesame bun and a bottle of water for breakfast to go. I personally would not like softdrink and meat and cheese sandwich for breakfast to go. I personally preferred not to have a room right beside the elevator door. Luckily, the place was quiet. Did not like the need for extra careful about the door handle hitting the mirror on the closet door, as the door stopper was not installed at a proper location such that it will stop such itype mpact.

Nice breakfast, good service . Easy access with car. Parking (booking is needed!) S-ban station located ~ 200m from hotel . Direct line to Messe.
