Ibis Budget Madrid Getafe

The staff were very friendly and let us heat up the food for our two dogs in the microwave in the breakfast area. Parking is a breeze as the hotel has parking outside and is secured by a gate that is opened by a security guard. The rooms were clean and quiet despite being literally right off the highway. The A.C worked well but the dial was a bit finnicky.The hotel is very pet friendly and I noticed some water bowls for dogs in the lobby which was a nice detail.

The rooms were a lot smaller than they look in the pictures. We had the 3 person room that has a bunk bed above the double bed and the dog beds for our two German Shephards barely fit in the corner. Walking them was a bit weird as well as the hotel is right off the highway so you are basically walking the dogs in a grassy area with lots of prickly plants right near the highway. Also the TV only had 8 channels and no cable, not a big deal but I was surprised. I stayed in Ibis Murcia before and this Ibis was definitely the lesser of the two.
