Sehr gute Lage - wir konnten zu Fuß den Markt erreichen. Restaurants und Cafés direkt ums Eck. Personal alle sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück war gut! Gemischt traditionell und Brot Butter etc.

Das Bett war ziemlich durchgelegen, wir mussten für early Check in nochmal 30 Dollar zahlen was ich schon übertrieben fand…

We stayed at Zest Metropole for a total of two weeks with my husband, and we had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent, with a great variety and very good quality. The staff, especially the waiters, were always kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is outstanding, very convenient for exploring Colombo, and there is a very nice café right in front of the hotel. The room was extremely comfortable in every sense: clean, well-equipped, and perfect for a longer stay.

Located in the heart of Fort, close to the hustle and bustle of Pettah and the lively Galle Face Green, where people flock in the evening, Zest Metropole is a convenient option if you need a short stay in Colombo and want to be within walking distance of the Colombo Fort Railway Station. You can also find some good, though more expensive, restaurants, markets, and shops nearby. We stayed for 2 nights. The room and bathroom are spacious and very clean. A fridge and safe are available in the room, and amenities kits is provided. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of options, both local and continental. The staff is generally helpful. One important point to mention: ask for rooms at the back of the hotel, as loud music from the lively restaurants just in front of the property is quite common and may last until around midnight. Do not hesitate to visit the rooftop to enjoy some views of the city. One final remark: I noticed that some tuk-tuk drivers do not know exactly where the hotel is. In that case, show the location on any maps app or, even better, give the Hilton Hotel in Fort as a reference, as it is just two blocks away. I would definitely recommend Zest Metropole to anyone looking for a nice and convenient place to stay while in Colombo.
