Everything you would expect from a comfortable, warm and friendly village pub. Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely food!

This is a massive positive! We had prebooked a minibus to take a group of us to a wedding at a venue nearby. We were let down badly by this minibus (NOT in any way linked to the staff or property). Up stepped a member of staff and a customer (friend of the staff) and went out of their way to ferry us in their own cars. We can't thank them enough!

Room was clean

It was New Years Eve, and the bar was shut, so there was no atmosphere. There was no mention of the bar being shut on the website. The facilities even listed the bar as a feature. I was in a single room and was prepared for a single bed, but it was tiny, more like teenagers bed
