Harsono Boutique Resort Bali

This property is so beautiful that I think it probably ruined me for the rest of my trip. Nothing will compare! It is luxurious and you feel very well taken care of and if it is of no effort to the staff. They seem very happy. The bed was as comfortable as my bed at home and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

I LOVED the place but- 1)I don’t think the property can do anything about it but the river water is not clean enough to go in. They keep it clean in the area of the property, but you can see garbage in the water and on the banks just upstream. 2) The portions in the restaurant are just a little too small. 3) You are pretty far from the touristy area which is both good and bad. 4) The massage I got was expensive and not good.

First off, everyone at the resort very kind and helpful. Especially Sri. The location was amazing and if you are considering it, have no doubt you will enjoi it here.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο και πολύ προσεγμένο. Η πισίνα μπροστά από το δωμάτιό μας, σε συνδυασμό με τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο, ήταν πολύ εντυπωσιακή. Το πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετικό, ενώ το προσωπικό του εστιατορίου ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και χαμογελαστό — ιδιαίτερα η Padma, που ήταν πάντα πολύ χαμογελαστή και εξυπηρετική κάθε πρωί — εξυπηρετώντας κάθε μας ανάγκη.

Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν ότι στο δωμάτιο και στο μπάνιο υπήρχε έντονη μυρωδιά υγρασίας/μούχλας. Μόλις μπήκαμε στο δωμάτιο ζητήσαμε αλλαγή, και το προσωπικό ανταποκρίθηκε άμεσα και πολύ πρόθυμα. Ωστόσο, και στο δεύτερο δωμάτιο υπήρχε η ίδια μυρωδιά.

Perfect resort. Its designed for you to want to stay at the resort and enjoy the facilities. The food was spectacular and the amazing staff made it really special. The pool is a great highlight. I didn't want to leave and next time I return to Bali this will be the base. Great value for money and comfortable beds. Bedrooms are very spacious.

The resort is quiet, excellent super friendly helpful staff. There are a lot of steps but we didn’t mind as it’s good exercise. It is a 30 minute drive to Sanur depending on time and traffic. It’s perfect for couples who want quiet and a relaxing holiday. The dinner menu was not so exciting but the staff easily organised a very inexpensive car ride to Budu or Sanur which have awesome restaurants. Breakfast was either buffet if hotel is above 70% occupied or good size breakfast otherwise. Not your massive buffet breakfast you would expected from a busier resort. Not as much choice but well worth it for the peace. The gym was adequate however Aircond not so good in the gym. Aircond superb in the rooms. We stayed in a villa with plunge pool which was first class, couldn’t ask for better. Extremely beautiful views and staff are exceptionally beautiful people. They are super helpful and super quick to respond to any concerns or issues that arose in our stay at Harsono. A big plus was not as much cigarette smoking at this resort if you are not keen on side smoke from guests. Unfortunately unavoidable if guest next villa are smoking outside near their pool. Luckily in our 11 nights stay we only encountered one day where guest were talking extremely loud and smoking in next door villa. Fortunately they only stayed one night, otherwise very unpleasant siting outside trying to relax by your private pool. I have to say the rooms are extremely clean and extremely comfortable. Can not compliment the staff enough for how considerate, friendly and helpful they are in Harsono resort.

I unfortunately didn’t enjoy the massage however other older guest staying told me they found it excellent. I found it very ordinary and not a deep massage as I requested. You can request different therapists I believe. I was given a 20 minutes voucher for massage, head or feet. Paid for 120 minutes received a 90 minute very ordinary massage. You can request different levels of pressure, my request for a deep pressure massage for very tight back and shoulders was not relieving at all, very soft and disappointing. Breakfast eggs were always undercooked and the waffles and pancakes extremely dry to point you couldn’t eat them. Bit like trying to eat rubber unfortunately. It is extra for different types of coffee other than black coffee with ordinary milk. In saying that the meals are extremely inexpensive.
