Harsono Boutique Resort Bali

The setting was so peaceful and beautifully set out between the rivers. The staff were all lovely, kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room had a private pool which was great for our teenage kids but we also tried the pool in the bar area which was great too! We tried breakfast, bar snacks and evening meal at different times during our stay and everyone enjoyed what was on offer. We chose the location as our son was playing a football tournament at the training ground down the road so it was convenient for that but also getting around, into Sanur, up to Ubud and exploring surf spots further down the coast.

This is among the top 3 hotels I have ever stayed in. Every detail was considered and maximized for taste, beauty, and functionality. The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. The adjoining pool was delightful with great views of the lovely grounds. The art and wood work was masterful. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. I want to give a special shout out to waitresses Pruti and Padma, front desk worker Siri, and driver Wayan -- each went above and beyond. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

We liked everything. I would suggest placing an umbrella over the sitting area around the private pools, as the sun was intense mid day.

Breakfast excellent. Great setting, variety, and well prepared. Sanur is a city and it does not have many walkable plsces outside of the hotels. This is not a critique of this hotel, but Sanur in general. That being said, the grounds within this hotel were luxurious and we enjoyed the views from virtually every vantage point.

This is a recommendation. The attached villa pools were fabulous. However, midday sun was intense. A shade barrier such as an umbrella would have been useful.

The property is immaculate. The peace and serenity of the gardens and villas were absolutely beautiful but the staff were the ones who made our holiday complete. There was nothing they wouldn’t do for us to make us feel comfortable and happy. We extend our sincere gratitude to the all the staff especially the Facility Manager Ari, Ungga who took us everywhere we needed and the rest of the staff. Thank you to everyone. The complex itself is beautiful. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and the most helpful staff who go out of their way to make you feel special.

There was lots of steps which could prove difficult for some people. Also tv in bedroom kept buffering possibly due to wifi. It is about 10 mins outside Sanur and the beach.

Beautiful villa. Very spacious. The river is amazing.

During buffet, there are flies on the food. So we didn’t eat the buffet. They had ala carte as well, so we opted for that instead. Had feedback to the restaurant staff.

Gorgeous room we stayed in a plunge pool room.

The property is next to nothing. Nowhere to go. Restaurant food was terrible. Had to walk 100s of steps to get to and from the only restaurant in the rain. Would be terrible for those with mobility issues.

Cozy and peaceful location, and an absolutely wonderful resort! The staff were incredible – so warm and attentive that it truly felt like being part of a family ❤️ Everything was spotless and very well maintained, which made the whole stay feel extra comfortable. The area felt safe and calm, with no stray animals around. The food was excellent, and the pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. We had such a lovely stay and would happily come back!
