"Lived up to expectations but could be better."

Luxurious look and feel, very spacious and at first it looked clean.

Glasses seemed not to have been used in quite some time and smelled stale, one was even stained brown by previous use. The headboard of the bed was damaged/scratched, flakes came off. The bed was also creaking. Which took away from the luxurious look and feel I experienced when entering the room at first. Also several other items like a light switch were damaged by previous occupants and had not replaced. There were marks on the bathroom floor where the staff hadn't cleaned properly.

"Geweldig zoals altijd."

Het was alweer de 7e of 8e keer dat wij in Havezate Marveld vertoefden en dat zegt eigenlijk al meer dan genoeg. Ik heb ook minstens 5 keer een recensie geschreven en die zijn allen hetzelfde. Het ontbijt is uitstekend, het zwembad is heerlijk en de badkamer is fantastisch. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en als alles zo blijft, dan blijven mijn echtgenote en ik terugkomen.

Toen we in de namiddag terugkwamen uit Bocholt (Duitsland) was onze kamer nog niet bezocht door de kamermeisjes (voor het bedden opmaken, schone handdoeken, koffie en thee bijvullen etc) en moesten we dit keer daar om vragen. Dat werd ook gelijk gedaan, maar als we 's avonds waren teruggekomen, hadden we moeten wachten tot de volgende dag en is dit misschien een punt van aandacht?
