Very lovely staff and facilities.

Charged for breakfast each day when we did not have breakfast. Still working out why we haven’t been refunded the cost. Rather poor customer service.

A Delightful Discovery… Tucked away in the heart of the German countryside, this beautifully modernized castle offers a perfect blend of history, comfort, and exceptional service. It’s an ideal retreat for those seeking a few days of complete relaxation. My partner and I originally planned to stay just one night, but we couldn’t resist extending our visit. We wanted more time to indulge in the luxurious spa, take a dip in the inviting pool, and savor the exquisite dishes crafted by the castle’s talented chef. The common areas also added to the charm, especially the cozy fireplace lounge—perfect for unwinding with a drink after dinner while admiring the stunning frescoes and intricate wooden reliefs. A special thanks to Yanks Keita, who welcomed us with warmth and hospitality, making us feel truly at home from the very start. We will most certainly be back in the summer! Until next time!

The breakfast and spa areas were very nice.

The room left a lot to be desired and lacked any type of character or charm. It was quite depressing actually.

Very cozy and nice situated property. The dinner facilities very cozy on the waterfront. Very peaceful place.

No coffee machine and water cooker in the room. A must in a 5* hotel. No bar or bar service at the SPA POOL AREA

No coffee/tea facilities in room, concert equipment being dart up in front of building not warned about so lacked that wow factor on arrival

Amazing locale. Great aspects. Pool area fantastic. Good but expensive breakfast. Lovely grounds for walking and jogging. Great staff especially Yanks who went out of his way on a day off to help with a car issue re Umwelt plackette. Fantastic. Nice little stube next door called Birdie which is good for beer.

Not overly child friendly. Needs a gym. Whilst we booked a suite it was small and we lost a room to where our daughter slept and didn’t realise we were going to be charged Eur 40 a day for the use the sofa bed for her. I’d say an experience and somewhere for a weekend but not a week. I’m told the golf is good but we witnessed some heavy rain and the courses were flooded. Grounds of the hotel were covered in mud which meant morning jog a bit tricky.

The room was cold despite adjusting the temperature
