The room only had one power point next to bed. The wash basin was outside the bathroom. Terrible faucets.room was off street down cobble stones and old timber and full of mosquitoes. No way was I staying there. Was bitten by mozzies within 5 minutes in room

Great Location bathrooms in need of some modernisation

Of the 36 photos shown on Booking.com, we counted only 6 that were of Legian Village RESORT. The majority of the photos were of Legian Village HOTEL in different street Jln Padma. Those 2 properties are DEFINITELY NOT of the same standard. The "Resort" is an ageing property, and the rooms we think suit a tenant wanting long-term cheap rooms. We found it hard to believe the "CHSE Certification" had meaning, and will not believe that tag in future. The following features were advertised for this property, and were not present (In general, they applied to the other property): 2 swimming pools - There is 1 Spa/wellness - NO Tour Desk - NO Seating area - NO Snack bar / bar - NO Pool table - NO ATM machine - NO Mini Market - NO Lounge/ TV area - NO Barber Shop - NO Restaurant - NO Desk - There was a desk that incorporated drawers, leaving no room to use a chair, & no chair was supplied. Kettle - not supplied. On request, a kettle & 2 cups delivered. The kettle was non-functional. A second was delivered. The "garden view" was a concrete wall with a few plants in front but not hiding the wall.

This was my 4th time staying here and have never had any issues until this stay. What I liked: -Location obviously it’s right in the heart. -The pool. -soft Music plays in the pool area all the time. Unfortunately that’s it this time.

-Horrible Bathrooms. -No water connected to sink tap, maintenance man didn’t care. -Mould everywhere. -Shower was above a bath and slippery. -Mouldy shower curtain. -Bathroom floods. -Towels stink. -Housekeeping only make your bed they do not clean. -Mattress was awful and I felt dirty sleeping in it. -Sheet doesn’t fit mattress properly so my feet touched the actual mattress all night. -Housekeeping do not clean the property, cigarette ash on stairs was there 4 days. -Ants. -Mosquitoes. -Loud music at night. -Not great air con. -Bedsheets feel very old. -Stains on bedsheets. -Extremely dated. -Cats everywhere, a kitten fell off the balcony on the 4th floors and died when it hit the concrete floor below. This place was the same price as what I paid for another property that I just rated 10 stars as I did 5 nights at each. Unfortunately I’ll never return to Legian beach hotel or the smaller one on Garlic Lane.

Excellent location, walking distance to beach, shopping, restaurants, bars.
