Zissis Hotel

We spent 12 days in Greece, spread across 6 hotels and B&Bs. Two of those days were spent here- this place was absolutely adorable, set in a landscape that takes your breath away. It had the best shower of all the locations where we stayed. It appears to be recently renovated and was spotless. Air conditioning was both quiet and cold (having both factors combined seemed to be a problem during our trip). The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and the restaurant - which uses primarily locally sourced ingredients- was fabulous. Literally the best spinach and herb pie I’ve ever had in my life. And breakfast wasn’t a generic help-yourself buffet. Everything is brought to your table - Fruit, veg, yogurt & honey, eggs, 3 kinds of bread, jam, meat, cheese, and more- he just kept bringing things out. There is no on-site parking, but street parking was always available every time we left and came back. There’s also parking spots just up the street. Finally there is a tiny grocery store just up the street-easily walkable with a surprisingly comprehensive selection for such a small location.

I have no idea how this location only has a 2 star rating, I have no complaints.

Airco blaast niet over het plafond maar direct naar beneden.

Για πολλοστή φορά μένουμε στον Ζήση. Καθαρός, ζεστό ή δροσερό ότι εποχή και να πάτε. Ήσυχα δωμάτια με χαρακτήρα. Ψυγείο, βραστήρα για τσάι και μηχανή εσπρέσσο για καφέ μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Συχνές αλλαγές πετσέτες και σεντόνια. Σιτες σε όλα τα παράθυρα, άνετα στρώματα. Ένας εξαιρετικός κήπος και αυλή για το πλήρες πρωινό που προσφέρει. Και φυσικά εάν θέλεις να φας μια αρκετά καλή επιλογή από πιάτα σε καλές τιμές και όλα στα πόδια σού!!! Πλέον και ποιο ήσυχος δρόμος απ έξω από τον ξενώνα λόγο της παράκαμψης του χωριού με νέο δρόμο. Μπράβο στον Γιάννη που το δουλεύει τον ξενώνα. Όλα τέλεια με την παραδοσιακή Ηπειρώτικη φιλοξενία. Ότι θα μας ξανά δει είναι σίγουρο μια και η Αρίστη είναι πολύ βολική για το ράφτινγκ που κάνουμε στη Trekking στη Κλειδωνία.

Een mooie locatie met een geweldige uitzicht, een mooie tuin, waar je kunt ontbijten of dineren, erg lekker eten en een fantastisch ontbijt, het meest vriendelijke personeel wat ik tot nu toe in Griekenland heb mogen ervaren in al die jaren. De hond was meer dan welkom.

Je parkeert je auto langs de weg en er zijn niet echt parkeerplaatsen, de staan veel prikplantjes waardoor dat de hond daar niet graag in rondliep.

Gute Lage für Ausflüge in die Gegend , Gutes Restaurant im Haus, sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Freundliches Personal

Μας άρεσαν όλα! Απο την τοποθεσία,το δωμάτιο μας,το πρωινό, το φαγητό στο εστιατόριο... ήταν όλα πολυ προσεγμένα και το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο. Το τετρακλινο ηταν αρκετά άνετο,και όμορφο διατηρώντας το παραδοσιακό του χαρακτήρα.

Ηταν ολα άψογα δεν μπορώ να βρω κάτι.

Big and spacious room, clean, comfortable bed. Located very nice, stuff kind and friendly. Very good restaurant .

In the bathroom could be some shelves to put the bathing items.
