A fantastic experience with a very committed and present team to make your stay the best possible. A very dedicated management. The real plus of this establishment is the respect of the environment (social and environmental) and the coherence of words and actions. The activities offered are excellent and allow for real discussions with the local community and guides. The food is also excellent. I would recommend spending at least 4 nights to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Gugulesziwe Camp was like paradise for us! The staff was amazingly kind and obliging, the food so fresh and delicious. The whole camp let’s you forget about any worries with the roomy, neat cottages in the middle of nowhere, whilst the wild nature around you is just stunning. We can highly recommend to choose the camp, we‘ll come back for sure.

Wonderful experience.in a beautiful location

Gugs is one of the most exceptional places I’ve stayed at, from the location to the staff to the food to the activities. The lodge is magnificent and you feel so at peace. Ondyne, MB, Mandela, Mbali, and Njabulo looked after us for the entirety of our stay, and nothing was left wanting. The chalets give you a feeling of being remote, but you’re close to the central hub, so you feel connected. The food was really lekker, and the options are varied so vegans and veggies will be happy. We were lucky enough to sight five turtles on our turtle tour with MB, and on our snorkelling adventures we found a loggerhead turtle, a moray eel, a sting ray, cuttlefish, and many more creatures. We’ll be back next year for sure.
