Everything was comfortable and intimate

As a couple we had to push 2 beds together. It'll be better if it had 1 bed and a microwave. We couldn't reheat our food properly

The garden

The location was perfect, very beautiful chalet in nature, a real change of scenery! Nature is peaceful and lush. The children were able to play quietly in the gardens. The property is well maintained. Ingue and Penny are always present, kind and ready to help. We eat well in their restaurants and the service is impeccable. The cleaning is done every day and the towels are changed which we liked very much. We had a problem with the stove and the problem was quickly solved.

We had a big sewer rat in the bathroom, we also found his excrement in our room, he tore the package of our rice. We are in nature we understand that there are lizards, cockroaches and insects but still not a sewer rat! The owner killed him in the bathroom but the bathroom was very badly cleaned and there were pieces of glass everywhere which is very dangerous. It ruined our stay and we had to leave when we were on December 23 and all the other establishments displayed full without forgetting the price, it had cost us a lot!!! The owners reimbursed us for the last 2 nights that we had to spend only. We contacted Booking who told us that we were entitled to be reimbursed for our entire stay but Ingue refused. Too bad we keep a very bad taste of our stay because of this incident!

Inge and Penny are wonderful hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The cabins are great, situated among the trees with the birds and the butterflies. There is a restaurant on site, but it is also only a short walk away from other bars and restaurants (Rick's is 10mins walk).

It is quite a long walk (5km) or taxi ride to get to the beach or the town.

I did not like staff cleaning my room while at the beach. I was hoping for more privacy

Everything about the Lighthouse Inn 2 was amazing. Wonderful food, friendly staff, Inge and her husband were a treasure trove of information and stories. I'll be back for that banana orange spread 🤤
