There was plenty of parking

The room was tiny with a bed wedged against a wall. The restaurant was noisy with very inattentive staff

Close to the motorway, with easy access, enough to rest for 1 night. With a restaurant attached with regular prices.

At night it seems a bit scary, looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere, with trucks parking just in front. But in the morning looks much better. The bathroom is super small and tight, sink leaking and the floor underneath was a bit flooded. Tiny shower. The aircon cannot be switched off and it’s blowing directly over the bed and your face. The bed not very comfy, but it was just 1 night.

The hotel is situated beside a motorway and a garage....so it is not 100% quiet....but having said that, I slept very very well. In addition, the location is excellent for a stop off in the area (Nijar, Carboneras, Cabo de Gata)...and is excellent value for money. Furthermore, the adjacent restaurant is also great. I ate there every day of my stay. The staff were more than helpful. I had a problem with the wifi reception in my room and I received a room upgrade without question. Many other hotels could take a lesson from the staff at Venta del Pobre!

As mentioned, the wifi reception isn't always strong.....but the staff were extra helpful in solving this problem for me.
