Very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower

Great staff, comfy rooms and tasty breakfast in a beautiful town - ideal stopover for a weekend in Zeeland!

We loved the view from our room, and the people were kind and professional. :-) The bathroom is spacious. The city of Tholen is beautiful, and we had the chance to meet very good artists in their art galleries. We recommend : Galerie ’Onder de Linde, and Monique van den Hout.

The rooms were large with spacious en suite bathroom. Water was readily hot when using the shower. View from second story provided site of nearby Oude Stadhuis (Town hall) with its varying playlist of tunes on the hour every hour between 6am and 9pm- some examples include The Entertainer, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Yesterday and even Yellow Submarine. If your awake after 10pm, they illuminate the tower which looks lovely out your hotel window. Proximity to the olde Tholen town, Didn't have to walk too far to check out Windmills, the Tiny house, the Great Church or the nearby harbour. Loved the old door keys. Nice retro feel, than today's typical keycards at hotels. Evening meal in hotel restaurant was delicious.

The only annoying thing for me was the swinging door halfway up the stairwell. Although I'd imagine its for noise control, from the restaurant beneath, it was a different feature that I really didn't like, although it appeared to serve its purpose well; a little troublesome with luggage however. Perhaps I'm missing something, but I didn't quite 'get' the whole Italian theme to the hotel, although I'd gather this sets this accommodation apart from others in the local area.

The young female employee at the counter was kind

I couldn't change my reservation, so I canceled it and asked to do it again, but I was charged a full fee in the process. I was able to change my reservation, but I canceled it and paid only the fee while saying no. I agreed with Booking.com because I received a partial refund and said I would give the remaining refund if Booking.com said okay. But they didn't give me the money back. I sent the message several times, but I didn't return the money. It's the worst. Why do you keep changing your words and ignore customers?

Hotel is good

despite numerous requests and calls, the bill was never sent. they constantly say that we will send it tomorrow. I do not recommend it for business trips

Great location in old Tholen center. Samantha is a hospitality pro. Lovely spacious room with a great shower. Comfortable bed and nice view of the harbor. Looking forward to coming back!
