La Porta del Mare

La posizione è ottima ,si arriva al mare percorrendo delle scale .Ed è vicinissimo al centro .

La colazione scarsa,la camera con un odore di muffa ,in bagno la mancanza di sapone ,cuffie per capelli.

Keine ansprechendes Personal. Das Zimmer und das Bett entspricht nicht den Fotos. Sehr alte Einrichtung, teilweise rostig. Das Bett was eine Katastrophe zum schlafen. Frühstück hatten wir 6 Tage das gleiche. Immer nur eine Sorte Käse und eine Sorte Salami, immer die gleiche.

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber, ruhige Atmosphäre, sehr erholsam. Atemberaubender Ausblick, Meer und Strand über Treppe gut erreichbar.

Kein Schrank im Zimmer, nur eine Stange mit 4 Kleiderbügeln, so dass man die ganze Woche aus dem Koffer leben muss.

Sehr guter Parkplatz, Zugang zum Meer über Stufen Aber am besten ist die Terrasse zum Frühstücken mit herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und sehr gutem Frühstück

Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt

My wife and I were extremely happy with our stay at La Porta del Mare in Tropea. We stayed for 7 nights and appreciated many things: excellent breakfast, phenomenal view of the sea, easy and free parking on the street in front of the hotel, well functioning and fast wifi, clean property, well-functioning air conditioning in the room, ease of access to the beach by private stairway, short walk to the historical old town where all the activity is each evening with many choices for food and items to buy, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back.

There wasn’t really anything that we could say that we didn’t like about this property.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Maximal 5 Gehminuten von der Altstadt von Tropea gelegen. Gleichzeitig Zugang zum Strand über einen hoteleigenen Stiegenaufgang. Große Terrasse mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Wir haben auch im Bereich rund um das Hotel immer einen Parkplatz gefunden (lag aber vielleicht auch an der Jahreszeit unserer Reise - Anfang Juni). Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend - somit auch nachts kein störender Lärm. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse absolut ausreichend - Wunder darf man sich aber keine erwarten.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer (Nr. 5) im Erdgeschoss. Das Zimmer war barrierefrei ausgeführt, wodurch das Badezimmer inkl. WC schon etwas speziell war. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist zwar funktional aber auch vom billigsten. Das Bett ist sehr hart - aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmackssache. Die Tür zum Zimmer sollte mal repariert werden (das Türschloss hat schon bessere Tage gesehen) und im besten Fall gleich gegen ein schalldichteres Modell ausgetauscht werden, denn man hört wirklich alles durch die Tür durch was so am Gang davor passiert.

Great location and beautiful view to the sea.

When we arrived they gave us a different room than what we booked. We were three therefore we booked a room for 32m2 to have enough space. Instead of that we got a 18m2 room with barely any furniture,a narrow window looking at the stairs that the other guests were using. The bathroom had mold on the wall. When we raised our concern they promised to change the room to another the next day and asked us to stay in the small room for one night. They highligted we will not get any refund anyways. We agreed to stay one night in the small room subject we get another one the next day. The next day we asked for the other room but they said there are no available rooms and we can leave if we want but without any refund.
