The Buck Inn

The hotel is right in the heart of Whitby. The girl at the bar was lovely, showed us to our room. We went and had a drink in the bar, yes it is people's local, but we didn't feel uncomfortable. We'd read reviews about the noise from the pub. It wasn't that bad, although they didn't have any entertainment on the night we stayed.

I can't think of anything that was missing.

Location was perfect.

We did not book breakfast. Really pleased with the room. Was hoping for a harbour view, but the room was really nice and the bed so comfortable. The coffee making machine, Iron, hairdryer, kettle ect helped make our stay really comfortable. Will book here again when we come back to Whitby. The staff at the Buck Inn were really helpful and pleasant.

Dusty room, could have done with providing a fan as the room was extremely hot

The room was clean warm and he shower was hot, Ty e pub was a lovely atmosphere and the staff went above and beyond.

The room was a little disappointing, we were at the back of the pub, the windows were frosted with film, it looked like rooftops and air con unit, you didn’t have a view over the harbour which would have made been lovely otherwise all ok
