City Hotel Agoston

The only pro is its location. Close to the center and easy to park. Nothing else.

Yearly amount of cigarette ash between the bed and the wall. Thick smell of nicotine from everything. Curtains are teared from the rails. Toilet is dirty and patched (with lots of siloplast and plaster). Inside the wardrobe we found somebody's dirty sweater. Drain system is clogged. Check-in process is miserable, staff had been looking for proper keys for long. Kind of an abandoned por haunted property. A weird and surreal but verte unpleasant experience, which could be avoided with some care. Totally unrecommended.

This is a total dump. My room was filthy, garbage full from prior guest. Beds not made, hair and other dirt on sheets. Left a can of spray for bedbugs on the table, so I got totally concerned. The receptionist is 300 meters up the street and his only English is to collect the fee for the room. This place should be shut down. Avoid at all cost.

I wasn't impressed at having to walk round to another hotel to book in. The reception at my hotel wan't staffed. Not at all impressed with the breakfast. No coffee and it was genarally disorganised. I suspect the owners are trying to cut costs by cutting staff.

Location is ok

Check in is in another building, you have to call them to be able to check in. The process lasted 1 hour. Old ripped matress, broken shower, water pipes in bathroom too loud, not good heating (february).
