Only a minor grumble, but a couple of floorboards were split, making walking around the bungalow a little sketchy

AUthe bungalows were located close to the road , perfect if you wanted to get up early in the morning no need to set an alarm

USOur family host was so kind to us and were willing to help set up a taxi group for when my family wanted to go explore Sapa Center. They were accommodating and the bonus was them owning a cafe next to our homestay. Breakfast is free and the full menu is delicious. The peach orange lemongrass tea is a must try. The bungalow I booked for my family was a Mountain View of the valley. We saw water buffalos roaming up close and had an amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. They also provide other your services such as Fansipan trekking, Sapa trekking, etc. Overall, it was a breath of fresh air and well needed when wanting to get away from the city.
Because the homestay is situated in the valleys of Sapa, it’s roughly 30-45 minutes from main attractions and it’s a rough pathway for taxis to drive up and down the valley.

SGExcellent place to stay if you're looking to stay out of crowded touristy sapa and if you want to be close to nature and peace. The best part was the amazing view. It was not the golden paddy field season but waking up to the vast mountain and valley view was truly magnificent. The walk around the area / village was slow paced, peaceful - really what I needed to quiet and slow down. They run a cafe next to the accommodation where my free breakfast and coffee is served - overlooking an amazing view. I got a free upgrade by luck! Staff were also honest - left my camera in their cafe and only realised after the cafe closed. The owner was easily contactable and thankfully staff kept my camera safely! Toilet was reasonable. Bed was comfortable.
The place is about 20-30min taxi ride from main town sapa. The accommodation can arrange taxi but price may be slightly more than one you hail on the street (even then, its a haggle as they may hike the price seeing you're a tourist). Arranged tours may not come to pick you up from the accommodation but it was my choice to stay further away from the Sapa town. Alternatively, comlam hse do provide their own tour package setting off from the accommodation itself. Fan was a lil noisy. It was still cool - so didnt use it much.
SGMeals were good. Service can be better.
Toilet seat was broken and was not repaired even after we told them to repair. Heater was not hot. There is no air con in the room and it is not comfortable with one standing fan blowing on your face/body.
