Hotel Drei Kronen

Lage. Personal war nett. Das wars dann auch.

- KAKERLAKEN IM BAD !!! - Haare und komische Flecken auf der Toilette - die Betten sind auseinandergebrochen - die Matratzen waren komplett durchgelegen, da waren richtige Kuhlen drin! Reklamation ist bei später anreise nicht mal möglich, weil die Rezeption ja nicht besetzt ist. - es ist laut, aber das haben wir so erwartet bei der Lage. Problem ist aber dass die Luft nachts richtig schlecht ist, so dass man wegen der Lautstärke auch nicht lüften kann. Wir haben maximal 4-5h mit mehreren Unterbrechungen schlafen können. Es war ein Alptraum.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is easily accessible from the central station, and to access different parts of the city.

Significant noise disturbances negatively impacted my experience. There were guests shouting in the hallways at 1:00 - 2:00 AM. Given the hotel's higher rating compared to nearby options, this was negative, and felt more to a hostel environment.

Drei Kronen is in an excellent location, just 5 minutes from the HBF and cathedral and on a stretch of river frontage with plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff are friendly and there’s a decent breakfast downstairs in the “cosa nostra” restaurant.

It’s not chic, smart or boutique hotel standard but that reflects the reasonable price. Very much rooms above the pub, old fittings and our twin room looked over the side street where the bin collection woke us up early (no a/c so windows open).
